A little one's encouragement

After 2 and a half days of being ill with a cold my children were kind enough to share with me, I finally feel good enough this evening to go through some emails and try to catch up on some important things. I'm sitting at my desk and my 2 year old (well, let's call her 3 as her birthday is in 5 days) daughter comes up to me and starts to repeatedly tell me, "You can do it, mommy. I believe in you." When I ask her what it is I can do she tells me, "You can do anything!"

That's a huge dose of encouragement. It's also a tall order to fill. But her sweet voice in my ear and her little hand stroking my arm as she talked was just what I needed tonight.

  2. I'd just like to thank you so much for becoming a follower of my blog, "Mixed Messages". I am going to join your's also and I look forward to catching up on reading all your posts. I wish you the best in attaining your goal of a brick and mortar store by next September. I think having that goal in writing and in the front of your mind all the time is so important. It's really interesting that MY goal was the subject of yesterday's post--52 paintings in 2009, with a countdown on my blog. I'd better get back to the studio!
