Incense

Making incense is a hobby for me. It has been for a few years now. I gave Karmen some Samhain incense for her birthday and both she and one of our friends told me I should sell it. I never really thought about it before, but it's something I like to do and if I can make a little money at it, that's even better.

I'm a part of a local group called
North Idaho Pagans and yesterday we had a Coffee Meet & Greet. I, along with the help of Karmen (once again! lol!) made little sample packs of Imbolc incense to pass out. The whole idea was to use the members of NIP as my little marketing group. Plus who doesn't like free stuff? So far I've had 3 rave reviews.

I should be getting some of this up on the store soon. I'm thinking of having incense for each Sabbat, Full Moon & New Moon incense, Purification incense, Clarity incense and maybe some specific use incenses like "going to court" and "finding a new job." I have a bunch of these recipes already created so now all I have to do is get labels made up so when the orders come in, I can just make the incense and send it out.

Quick note about my incense: I only use herbs that either I grow and harvest, ones I harvest from local farms, or ones that I purchase from local farms. All of my ingredients are carefully researched to ensure that the herbs/oils correspond to the intent, season, and Sabbat. Ingredient substitutions may be made if I am out of an herb and cannot get it locally at that time. All substitutions are carefully researched to ensure they have the same properties as the missing ingredient. Also, I test all my incense before giving it out to make sure it burns properly and smells good. There's actually quite a lot that goes into making it.

If you have any special request of what kind of incense you would like me to make, please let me know!
